The Revar Cine Rota-Tray with Circular Polarizer is a geared filter tray designed and manufactured in the USA from aircraft grade aluminum and poly materials to interface with the latest 4×5.65 and 6.6x6.6 matte boxes on the market today. Commonly referred to as a Rota Pola, this geared tray allows for a use of a common unmounted circular polarizer in a rectangular 4×5.65 or 6.6x6.6 tray.

A military-spec circular polarizer engineered for premium performance— delivering efficiency and coatings well beyond common options like the Schneider True-Pol or Tiffen Ultra Pol.

Extra Large 138mm filterallows for use of wide angle lenses for maximum compatibility.

Dual wheel control lets you adjust with a simple touch—just drop the 4x5.65 tray into your matte box and spin from either side of the camera. For advanced setups, the built-in 0.8 gears connect effortlessly to a focus motor for smooth remote operation on jibs, gimbals, and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you can use a Schneider Unmounted True-Pol. The Rota Tray is not compatible with Tiffen unmounted filters due to the different diameter of the glass.

We also offer the Rota Tray in 6.6x6.6 size. For matte boxes with no filter tray, check out our 138mm Pola+ Circular Polarizer.

Tilta uses a non-standard tray width in the T04 matte box. Their T12 matte box does follow standards so it is compatible.
